ARTaFACT Travelling Culture Kits are a long standing
and wonderful resource for all educators whether grade
school, middle school, high school, or college level.
The Kits give educators the opportunity to bring
different cultural programs into their classrooms.This
resource is also available to businesses as an
educational outreach to employees.
ARTaFACT Kits are a compilation of genuine art objects
and cultural facts. Each Culture Kit comes with actual
artifacts plus a cd, which includes a PowerPoint
interactive learning experience, overhead
transparencies and a notebook filled with lesson
plans. Also included is additional information and
websites for continued learning past the initial
presentation. ARTaFACT Travelling Culture Kits are
free of charge and are loaned for two week intervals.
Currently available programs
are: Mexico and Central America, The Art and Culture of Japan,
Michigan Past
and Present, and the Art and Culture of Native
Americans plus a special separate supplement on the
Art of the People of the Three Fires (Michigan region
Native Americans.)
